About Tamara Lyn — Artist & Advocate

About Tamara Lyn

I’m Tamara Lyn, a self-taught multidisciplinary artist and musician, and the founder of Eyeful Creations. My work brings together visual art, sound, and personal experience, reflecting a lifelong commitment to creative expression.

A Creative Practice Shaped by Experience

Throughout my life, art has served as a coping mechanism and an important part of my healing journey. In navigating the effects of childhood trauma, creative expression has offered a way to process experiences and communicate emotions that words alone could not convey.

These experiences inform my work without defining its boundaries. My creative practice continues to evolve through experimentation, reflection, and a belief in the value of pursuing one’s dreams.

Visual Art and Music

My visual work spans acrylic fluid painting, dot painting, digital art, collage, jewelry, and assemblage. Eclectic and abstract in style, it reflects an interest in color, texture, and unexpected details, with each medium offering a distinct approach to expression.

Under the name midKnight Muse, I also create experimental and electronic ambient music. Sound provides another means of exploring atmosphere and emotion, complementing my work in visual art. Visit my Music page for listening links.

Experience and Future Direction

My professional experience includes work in the children’s mental health nonprofit sector. I currently work part-time at an anti-human trafficking law firm, supporting fellow survivors of trafficking as they seek justice.

As a public speaker and a member of the RAINN Speakers Bureau since 2019, I share my lived experience to raise awareness, support fellow survivors, and explore the role of creativity in healing. I am available for public speaking engagements focused on survival, advocacy, and reclaiming one’s voice.

I also hold a certificate as a Therapeutic Art Life Coach. Looking ahead, I hope to share the creative practices that have supported my own healing journey with others interested in exploring art as a means of personal expression. This aspiration draws on my lived experience and my commitment to supporting others.

Eyeful Creations

Established in 2020 at Victoria Meeting Center in Historic New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Eyeful Creations LLC brings my creative interests together. After relocating to the Tallahassee area in 2023, I continued developing my work from my home studio.

Artwork is not currently offered for sale. This website serves as a portfolio of my creative work and a place to discover my music and learn about the experiences behind it.

At the heart of Eyeful Creations is a simple conviction: our experiences shape us, but there is still room to create, grow, and pursue our dreams.
